Mon baban, my baby. The most important thing I do, the most valuable thing I have. She has taught me more about what matters than anyone.
 
We name her for Tan'tynt. In Zambiquan, Tansiya mean "Tan's Honor."

Tansi is a year old now, and more precious to me than ever.

My maman was a strong woman. She had four children, although only 2 including myself are part of the family. One is now a member of a ruling family on another planet. I can not say which one, that was part of the bargain. The other went to a wealthy shipping family.

She had hoped I would marry and carry on our tradition in the jewelry business. Neither she nor papan were happy with my choice of a military career. They felt the risk was too high for the return. Maman was very upset and said that all she had taught me was wasted. I do not see how. She kept a careful accounting of every cedime she spent on me from the beginning of her pregnancy. It took me 8 years to pay it back, once I started working on my own, and paying my own way. I remember the feeling of independence when I make the last payment on my 21st birthday, and I owe her and my papan nothing.
 
Maman is now deceased.

This is Marius Curran. He found me after what happened with my papan. We had known each other well before that, but at the time I did not remember.

It took a long time for us to work things out between us, but we have. We are married and have a beautiful baby girl, Tansiya Boliyou Curran.

Much has happened in the time I have known Marius. We have had our good times and bad. We separated for a long time, but we have come to an understanding.

Former bounty hnter, now a firefighter with the Corellian Fire Department. He is married to Dirhanna and they have a child, Battue.

He grew up on Myoris, and went to the dancing school there. He did not know his parents until I told him about them. His maman had been unable to conceive and so his parents had contracted with Lossa. She turned the child over to Mr. And Mrs. Brishen to raise. Technically, he and I are brother and sister sister of the half.
 
I do not mean to tell him this, but it does him no harm. He says perhaps that is why Zambiqan comes so easily to him. It is nice to have someone to speak it with.

My papan wanted very much for me to join him in the family "art appraisal" business. His way of convincing me was not so pleasant, nor was it successful.

As the head of the family, he was called "the Boliyou." When he and maman were both deceased, I took the title of "the Boliyou." My sister Rianne challenged me for it, and although I won the fight, I give her the title anyway.

Papan is now deceased.

My sister Rianne is an up-and-coming assassin with the Guild. She is younger than I, only 26. We are not close. In fact, I once turned her over to Papan when she got too close to a member of my team. He did not approve of her career choice either.

A while ago, she came to me and challenged me for the title of "the Boliyou." She say we must fight for it. I do not think I can do this, and tell her she can have the title, to just leave me alone. She attacked me then, and we fought. Some of the fighting skills I had forgotten came back, and I won the fight, but I give her the title of "the Boliyou" anyway. I do not want it.

I have only heard from her once since then. She contact me to say that the contract payment on our sister did not come in. She was going to terminate the contract - and our half sister with it. I went to her home planet to acquire payment: the local crown jewels. It is the only time I have been caught on a job. Rianne has let it go for now.



When I hear "Sweet Little Sister" by Bad Company, I think of Rianne.

The other of the two children my maman bore for profit. Little Tavvelina's situation turned out far better than Elias'.
 
Somehow, her parents did not make the final payment for her before they died. Rianne decide to follow through and assassinate the Senator, for non-payment. I got arrested for trying to steal the Generbrian Crown Jewels to pay the final installment. Fortunately, I had a good attorney. I am still on probation in Generbria. And they still do not know where their star necklace is.
 
A definite bargain in my favor.
